Quentin Corners Subway moving to new spot in Palatine

The Palatine village council approved a plan to move the Subway restaurant currently located in the Quentin Corners shopping center to a new location at 243 W. Northwest Hwy., in the spot previously reserved for a Jersey Mike's restaurant.

In 2013, the council approved a plan to put a drive-through Dunkin' Donuts and a Jersey Mike's at a new shopping center at 243 W. Northwest Hwy., which is just west of the intersection of Northwest Highway and Smith Street in between a McDonald's and a BMO Harris Bank.

The site is still being developed, so the approved Jersey Mike's location never began operating, according to village documents.

The Subway would operate 24 hours a day seven days a week. The McDonald's located directly to the west is on the same schedule. There are nine Subway restaurants in Palatine.
