Celebrate Thanksgiving with the Schaumburg Park District

Enjoy exciting Thanksgiving-themed activities with your little ones.

Dress up in Thanksgiving attire for the Schaumburg Park District's first annual Plymouth Bock Rock 10-11 a.m., Nov. 23 at Bock Neighborhood Center, 1223 W. Sharon Lane. Participants will give thanks to family and friends during this hour of fun.

Children will make crafts, play games, enjoy a snack, play Thanksgiving bingo and embark on an outdoor scavenger hunt.

"You won't want to miss what is sure to become an annual event for families," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Center manager and general program supervisor. "Thanksgiving is about spending time together and giving thanks to others in our life."

Pre-registration is required by Nov. 21. Cost is $7 for residents and $10 for non-residents. Event is for ages 1 to 6.
