Renk Theological College trains church leaders, men and women, that serve in churches, schools, clinics, and other social services in South Sudan.

South Sudan gained independence in 2011, after a 25-year civil war, but the humanitarian needs of South Sudan remain great. Unrest and fighting are again in the area and residents have been forced to flee. The Episcopal Church of Sudan, with 4 million members, is the major nongovernment organization in the Republic of South Sudan, and is strategically placed on the ground to serve its people in the face of great adversity. Support at this time enables, empowers and encourages the people of Renk to remain hopeful and strong, so they may come to enjoy the independence for which they have struggled for so many years.

Enjoy an African-themed evening at the South Sudan Soiree and help support the mission of education, independence and peace in Renk, South Sudan. For information about the Soiree, visit stmichaelsbarrington.org or call (847) 381-2323 to make a reservation.
