Blackhawks' scoring drought ends with win over Canadiens
The Blackhawks finally found their offense.
After scoring 2 or fewer goals in eight of their previous 12 games, the Hawks' offense came to life in a 5-0 thumping of the Canadiens.
Kris Versteeg scored twice and hometown boy Corey Crawford picked up his first victory over the Canadiens in Montreal, stopping all 28 shots he faced.
Jonathan Toews scored the 200th NHL goal and added assist No. 250 to cap off an impressive night for the Hawks.
The lone downside was Patrick Sharp suffering an apparent knee injury. Sharp had to be helped off the ice after a knee to knee hit with Alex Emelin.
