Glendale Heights shifts Halloween festivities

Inclement weather is forcing Glendale Heights to shift its Safety Town Halloween festivities to the village's Sports Hub at 250 Civic Center Plaza, officials said Friday morning.

The hours for Safety Town Halloween will be from 4 to 7 p.m. followed by the new Hallow-Tween festivities from 7 to 9 p.m. for youngsters ages 10 to 14.

Regular trick-or-treat hours in the village will remain from 3 to 7 p.m.
