Stolman has demonstrated skills to be treasurer

Election Day is right around the corner, and early voting has already begun. One of the choices facing Lake County voters is the selection of a new Lake County treasurer.

My friend David Stolman is a candidate for that position. David has a long history of exemplary service to our community in a variety of capacities.

He has been our representative on the Lake County Board since 1992, and he served as county board chairman from 2010-2012. Throughout his tenure, David has shown the ability to tackle the tough challenges that are critical to the future of the county.

He has been a stalwart advocate for our interests, especially on important issues like economic development and transportation. He has worked diligently to improve county services, while also insisting that the county act in a fiscally responsible manner.

In short, David is a proven leader who has the knowledge, experience and ability to move the office of Lake County treasurer forward.
