These 2 Democrats will better serve Illinois

I learned a long while back that if you care about the environment, good job growth, Social Security and Medicare protection (maybe even enhancement), staying out of wars, women's and gays' rights, more affordable health care, reasonable gun laws, and a helping hand for the poor - then we are better off voting for the Democrats. Bruce Rauner and Peter Roskam may be decent guys. But in the end, one is a 1 percenter, and that's where his loyalties lie. The other is essentially a "Boehner boy" obstructionist.

Illinois and our country will be better served by Pat Quinn and Mike Casey. Let's hope and work for a large voter turnout.
