Munger outstanding choice in House 59

In a recent Wirepoints article written by Mark Glennon he aptly described Illinois state rep candidate Leslie Munger as "accomplished, articulate, smart, energetic and fed up with Springfield - basically an ideal candidate for her district." I couldn't agree more with his assessment.

Leslie Munger is an outstanding choice for the 59th District and very brave to run against a Madigan-funded incumbent. Many talented and qualified people decide not to run because it is such an uphill battle to unseat an incumbent, their vast resources as well as overcome the highly gerrymandered districts designed for them to hang onto power.

I am thrilled we have a new, non-politician candidate the caliber of Leslie Munger. She has always been a leader, getting major things accomplished and working well with large, diverse groups. I can't think of anyone who has achieved more in so many different businesses, community groups and charitable organizations.

Leslie Munger is one of those rare candidates that come along every once in a while. I hope my fellow voters in the 59th District will support Munger as the Daily Herald did stating, "she has the ideas and the character to make an effective legislator." Illinois needs Leslie Munger now; more than ever. Please vote for much needed balance and change on November 4th.
