Dold would make the hard choices

The 10th Congressional District in Illinois is one of the most diverse districts in the United States. Our business base runs the gamut from Fortune 500 corporations to corner shops. Our communities house people of great wealth and others in great need. We require a representative who can fully grasp the complexities of the district and will work for its best interests in a difficult Washington environment.

Bob Dold recognizes that hard choices are required to ensure this country's long-term economic stability. He has articulated the difficult challenges and put forth workable solutions without the unnecessary vitriol displayed by many politicians. Bob's plans will benefit both the nation at large and Illinois' 10th District, and his approach is in stark contrast to the partisan politics that is crippling our legislative process.

Brad Schneider has achieved nothing of note during his tenure, and appears to be more focused on the needs of his political party than the needs of his district. Schneider's TV and print ads are merely "scare-tactic" pieces that fail to show constituents how he is representing their interests. His refusal to debate Bob Dold in a true public forum is an egregious slight to voters trying to understand why we should send him back to Washington.

Dold gets my vote.
