It's wrong to imply endorsement by church

Recently, I received a letter from Sam Yingling's campaign that, to me, implied that he was endorsed by St. Gilbert's Catholic Church in Grayslake. The dishonesty of such a letter is appalling. What makes it worse is that Mr. Yingling stands against many of principles and teachings of the Catholic Church.

Mr. Yingling is a pro-abortion rights incumbent who voted for gay marriage. He even proposed to his fiance the very day it was signed into law.

Mr. Yingling has every right to disagree with the Church's teachings - it's a free country. But to imply that he has the endorsement of St. Gilbert's Catholic Church while doing so is dishonest and reprehensible.
