Duckworth's refusal to debate shows true colors

I have never been really interested in politics. However, when I first read about Larry Kaifesh online, and what his views are once he is elected, I actually became interested in this year's 8th Congressional District election.

What is going on in our country, and in the state of Illinois regarding taxes, unemployment, government, budgets, etc., just screams for change. Therefore, Larry has implored Tammy Duckworth, his opponent, for a debate to argue the issues and to see what she has to say for herself and her record in the 8th District. She refuses to have a debate with Larry. Why? Because she doesn't know how to lead and do anything for the people.

Granted she's a decorated veteran, but so is Larry. He's had five tours of duty in Iran and Afghanistan and is a current Marine reservist.

I called Tammy's office this week to ask why she won't debate with Larry, and they couldn't give me an answer. Instead, they took my name, phone number and email address. Have I heard from her or her team yet? No. Time to put the disability and pregnancy aside and debate the issues. I am going to continue to call her offices until I get an answer, obviously something she's not used to giving.

Please vote for Larry Kaifesh on Nov. 4.
