Rauner is all about making vague promises

I am amazed at your statement Rauner is our only hope of navigating out of the Illinois quagmire. What logical basis does your editorial board have for such a statement?

Rauner has provided criticism on some of the problems that exist in Illinois, but has provided no analysis (general or detailed) of these basic problems such as jobs, health care, public works, education, public aid and the many other areas that need attending to.

He has said the details are in the making. Hang on for that.

On the other hand, the incumbent has, and still is, confronting these issues plus taking a strong stance in many other areas concerning 21st Century problems such as gay rights, limited legalization of marijuana, and gambling, through all of which he has had very good success and, he has maintained composure while maintaining a positive image for Illinois in spite of an uninspired legislature.

The latter group is whom we should change!

The Herald missed the point that you cannot base forward improvement decisions on general promises which is what Rauner is all about. For comparison, with the details that Rauner has provided to correct and repair the situation, would you allow him to take your automobile in for repair based on no proposed solutions up front?
