Oak Brook artist exhibits at Mayslake

An exhibition of works by Judith Barath is on display through Oct. 31 at the DuPage Forest Preserve District's Mayslake Peabody Estate, 1717 W. 31st St., Oak Brook.

Barath is a contemporary fine artist and Oak Brook resident who draws inspiration from nature and architecture. Pieces in the exhibit include oil paintings and photographs, including some photography printed on metal for an unusual look and viewer experience.

Viewing hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free. For information, call Mayslake at (630) 206-9566.

Mayslake Peabody Estate, a national historic landmark owned and operated by the forest preserve district, offers a variety of educational and cultural programs and exhibits throughout the year.
