Crystal Lake police are seeking information about a robbery at a 7-Eleven store Tuesday, officials said.

A man came into the store at 19 Berkshire Drive around 11 a.m. and approached the counter, according to a news release. Once the clerk opened the cash register for a transaction, the man grabbed cash from the register and fled, officials said.

The man was described as white, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build.

He was wearing a brown baseball cap, a brown coat, blue jeans and dark-colored shoes.

The same 7-Eleven store also was robbed Sept. 28, authorities said. During that robbery, a man entered the store, walked behind the counter area and forced the clerk to open the cash register, according to police. After taking some cash, the man left. The suspect in the Sept. 28 robbery was described as white, 25 to 35 years old, 5 foot 10 inches to 6 feet tall, thin, with collar-length hair and clean-shaven, except on his chin.
