Schaumburg hosts crime prevention fashion show for seniors Oct. 28

The Village of Schaumburg Support Our Seniors Council will hold a Crime Prevention Fashion Show for seniors at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the Prairie Center for the Arts, 201 Schaumburg Court in Schaumburg.

The show will provide seniors with crime prevention information and raise awareness of public and private sector service employees who assist the public. Models will include police officers, firefighters, utility and service employees.

The event is open to the public, and caregivers and family members of seniors are encouraged to attend. Refreshments and raffles also will be provided.

Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP to either Crime Prevention Specialist Paula Diaz at (847) 348-7274 or the nursing division at (847) 923-3766. Seniors who need transportation can call Dial-A-Ride at (847) 352-8097 or Schaumburg Township at (847) 882-1929.
