No family baggage for this candidate

You would think that only in a fictional plot would the most powerful politician's daughter be the chief law enforcement officer. Exception: Illinois. That questionable relationship would invite skepticism, mistrust, and outrage even if Illinois had not earned its reputation for corruption.

Paul Schimpf is no insider to Illinois politics. That fact alone might qualify him for attorney general. He was the lead American attorney adviser who helped organize and prosecute the case against one of the world's most corrupt despots: Saddam Hussein. In his 24 years of active duty in the Navy and Marine Corps he also worked consumer fraud cases and family law. And, he's run an office supervising and coordinating cases with other attorneys. He's experienced, ethical, and highly qualified.

Voters have the right candidate in Paul Schimpf, but now voters need to "pull the lever" for him so there's someone inside the system who's looking out for the people. With Paul Schimpf there is hope for change.
