Sandwich, Ill., man killed in Big Rock car crash

A 64-year-old man was killed Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle crash near Big Rock.
Gregory G. Oakes, 64, of Sandwich, was driving north Tuesday morning in a Mitsubishi Eclipse on Granart Road at a high speed, according to the Kane County sheriff's office. The car "left the road on the west side of Granart and flipped several times," according to a news release.
