Brush fires planned in Lincolnshire
Lincolnshire officials will conduct controlled brush burns starting in mid-October. The burns will take place at Florsheim Nature Preserve, North Park and Old Mill Nature Preserve. They'll last for two or three weeks, officials said. These burns are an important method utilized by the village to control invasive plant species. To be notified on the day a particular site is being burned, call Scott Pippen at (847) 913-2382 and ask to be placed on the burn notification list.
