Korean celebrities coming to Schaumburg ballpark

A gathering of famous South Korean actors, singers and a comedian will be at Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg on Saturday, Oct. 11, and Sunday, Oct. 12, for the Korean All-Star Baseball Game and a concert in the spirit of R'October.

The South Korean celebrities will be playing against the Chicago Korean American Baseball team at 4 p.m. Oct. 11 at the baseball stadium at 1999 S. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg.

The Korean celebrities love baseball and play in a weekly league at home. In Schaumburg, they will be playing with a local Chicago-area team with multicultural membership that beat out several other local teams for the honor.

Several of the same K-POP celebrities will perform in a concert at 4 p.m. Oct. 12 at the stadium.

The lineup for both days includes singers Song Ho Bum, Jo Bin, Sung Yoo Bin, Hong Suh Bum, Jo Gap-gyung, Go Yoo Jin; actors Park Jae Jung, Gang Sung Jin, Yi Geun Hei, Min Woo Hyuk; and comedian Gim Hag Do.
