Attorney Brigid A. Duffield to Host Negotiation Webinar Oct. 16

Attorney and mediator Brigid A. Duffield, Wheaton, IL, will host a webinar on Negotiation for the Global Women's Leadership Foundation on October 16, 2014. The Global Women's Leadership Forum (GWLF) provides a community with education-based events and quantitative feedback, such as industry statistics and assessment metrics for women-owned businesses. The next monthly webinar, taking place October 16, will feature Brigid A. Duffield focusing on negotiation. Drawing on nearly 30 years of courtroom experience in family law, Attorney Duffield brings unique insight to negotiation. A pioneer in the field of mediation and a key figure in the establishment of the practice of mediation in DuPage County, Duffield specializes in several areas of alternate dispute resolution including collaborative law and arbitration along with mediation in her attempts to limit the financial and emotional costs to families while going through the legal system.

A graduate of John Marshall Law School, Duffield has owned and operated the Law Office of Brigid A. Duffield, P.C., since 1988. Areas of practice include family law, divorce mediation, collaborative law, divorce arbitration, real estate, and probate. For thirty years, Duffield has been a member of the DuPage Bar Assocation. Her additional affiliations include the Illinois State Bar Association, the National Speakers Association, the MCLE Board of the Illinois Supreme Court Accredited CLE Provider, the Association of Conflict Resolution, the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission, the Illinois Lawyers Assistance Program, the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers, and the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans.
