'Knuckleheads' have brought us gridlock

Well, the truth has finally been spoken. John Boehner came clean while addressing the International Franchise Association. Speaker Boehner said this: "On any given day, 16 of my members decide they're going to go this way, and all of a sudden I have nothing. You might notice I have a few knuckleheads in my conference."

He then added this: "Dealing with Democrats is one thing, dealing with knuckleheads is another."

So there you have it. The seesaw debate on gridlock and which party is at fault just became a little less cloudy. Excessive partisanship exists on both sides of the aisle, but Speaker Boehner's comments on his own caucus would suggest that even the savviest politician can't get the work of the people done when surrounded by "knuckleheads."
