Search planned for missing Bartlett man

Family and friends are organizing a search on Saturday for a Bartlett father of five who has been missing since August.

Keith Crawford, 36, was last seen at a party near West Dundee on Aug. 9, police said last month.

"It has been very difficult," said his mother, Regina Myles. "We are praying for him every night."

The search will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Fox River Shores Forest Preserve, near where he was last seen, Myles said.

"You can't rest because you just don't know what happened," Myles said. "I can't sleep, I can't eat, I can't work, I can't think. I'm up all night just trying to figure out what to do. This is my child, regardless of how old he is. He wouldn't leave his children, he loved his children."

Crawford stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds with a mustache. He was wearing blue jeans, a tan jacket, black gym shoes and a black baseball hat.

Bartlett police were not available to provide an update on the case Thursday night.

Anyone with information about Crawford's whereabouts should contact the department's Investigations Section at (630) 837-0846.
