Grayslake Central junior Michael Murdy was the only golfer to break 40 in the Rams' Fox Valley Conference dual meet against Grayslake North at Stonewall Orchard Golf Club on Tuesday.

Murdy's 39 led Grayslake Central to a 165-172 win on its home course.

The Rams also received a 40 from Kyle Reynolds, 42 from Tommy Triggs and 44 from Michael Sisk.

Bobby Krebs' 40 led Grayslake North. Kyle Baker shot a 41 for the Knights.

Mundelein d. Lake Zurich: At Steeple Chase, the victorious Mustangs (152) had three golfers break 40, led by Tyler White's even-par 36.

Mundelein also counted Ryan Magee's 37, Jeff Lee's 39 and John Lentz's 40.

Lake Zurich (175) received a 39 from Teddy Noll.

Deerfield d. Prospect: At Deerfield Golf Club, medalist Jacob Krugman fired an even-par 36 to lead the host Warriors (153) past the Knights (166).
