Aurora man charged with exposing himself to Warrenville child

A 24-year-old Aurora man faces a series of charges after authorities say he exposed himself to a juvenile.

Josue Pedraza-Lopez, of the 600 block of East Galena Boulevard, is charged with unlawful distribution of harmful material to a minor and sexual exploitation of a child. He is being held in the DuPage County jail on $75,000 bail.

Prosecutors said Pedraza-Lopez was riding a bicycle about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday on the 2S700 block of Continental Drive, near Warrenville, when he approached a 13-year-old child and exposed himself.

After a brief investigation, Pedraza-Lopez was arrested and charged Thursday morning.

If convicted, Pedraza-Lopez faces between one and three years in prison and may be required to register as a sex offender.

Warrenville police are asking anyone who has information regarding the case, or who may have also been victimized by Pedraza-Lopez, to contact them immediately.
