Plain White T's to play free concert in Rosemont
Early birds will get a free concert when the band The Plain White T's performs at MB Financial Park in Rosemont from 6 to 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26.
The Grammy Award-nominated band, which got its start in Villa Park, performs as part of a live radio broadcast tied to the culmination of 101.9 The MIX's "Eric, Kathy and Me $20G Selfie" promotion, which encouraged listeners to post creative "selfie" photos on social media sites supposedly appearing alongside morning show hosts Eric Ferguson and Kathy Hart for a $20,000 cash prize. The top 20 finalists will be on hand for the event.
