Join Misty River Music Makers in holiday concerts

Misty River Music Makers, a women's a cappella group that sings four-part barbershop harmony style, is offering the chance for ladies to come find out what Misty River is all about and the opportunity to sing with them for Christmas performances.

For three consecutive Monday evenings beginning Sept. 15, Misty River will host guest nights designed to take you back to the joy and fun of group singing! Hsave a simple, fun-filled night hanging out with "the girls." The ability to read music is helpful, but not necessary.

Learn a few holiday songs with them. And if you are feeling adventurous, join them during some of performances this holiday season.

It is open to all interested ladies. Special guest hours will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 15, 22 and 29, at the Montessori Academy, 595 S. River St., Batavia.

Misty River Music Makers has been singing in the Fox Valley for over 30 years and its membership includes women of all ages from all over the suburbs. Misty River recently took first place at the Harmony Inc, Area 4 Contest and Convention in June and was also awarded the "Highest Scoring Small Chorus" trophy. When they are not singing competitively, they are entertaining audiences all around the Fox Valley.
