No hope in tracking down robocallers

At the risk of giving assistance to our country's enemies, I have discovered the perfect hiding place to use as they plot against us. Set up a robocalling marketing company.

No one, not the telephone company, not the Attorney General seem to be able to offer any hope of identifying or locating these people. We can find the enemy in a remote village we have never heard of thousands of miles away, but we can't have any success finding someone who calls day and night on our national phone system.

Meantime, the companies make their own contribution to the deterioration of the quality of life with phone calls, hiding behind legitimate businesses, and unlisted or nebulous names, to call us at any time about the dangers of being alone, or our credit card balance, etc.

I wonder about our politicians, they enacted the "do not call" law with such fanfare. They must have known this was going to happen. Another example of pandering to the people by our politicians?

Why would anyone think to do business with such shady companies?

Finally, I invite everyone to fight back. Answer the calls; opt to talk to a person and engage that person as long as you can with innocent questions Even if it's only for 20 seconds, anything that will impact their efficiencies will impact their profits, and if enough people join the fight, we may be able, at least short term, to damage their business practice.
