Classic cars will shine at show in Camera Park

Classic vehicles will take center stage Sunday, Sept. 14, when Glendale Heights sponsors its 32nd annual Show and Shine Car Show and Swap Meet.

The show, complete with free admission, will be open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Camera Park, 101 E. Fullerton Ave.

Participants can check out some of their favorite classic cars and shop at the Swap Meet and Craft Fair. The car show will feature 20 different classes of vehicles ranging from classic antiques to motorcycles. There also will be games, crafters and live demonstrations.

This year's show also will feature a new Touch-a-Truck area that will feature police cars, fire trucks and construction trucks for kids of all ages to check out.

For those wishing to show their vehicles, there is a $12 preregistration fee before Sept. 14; $15 on the day of the show. There also is a $15 registration fee per booth for the Swap Meet.
