Body of missing Schaumburg man found in Wisconsin lake

Authorities say foul play is not suspected in the death of a 30-year-old Schaumburg man pulled from a Wisconsin lake Sunday afternoon.

The body of Robert Giner was discovered in Middle Lake, in the Lauderdale Lakes area north of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, by the Walworth County Sheriff's Office Dive Team at about 4:43 p.m. Sunday.

According to the sheriff's office, Giner was last seen by friends at about 2 a.m. on a dock along the lake. Authorities were contacted about him missing at approximately 11:25 a.m., and launched a ground search around the lake while the Lauderdale Lakes Police boat and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources conducted a shore search.

The dive team eventually located Giner's body in approximately eight feet of water 30 yards from shore.

An autopsy was performed Monday by the Walworth County Coroner's Office. Toxicology results are pending.
