Show concern for what's more important
The Sept. 1 letter by Laurel Anderson ("Police have right to defend themselves"), in which Ms. Anderson so flippantly dismisses the death of an 18-year-old young man, but then goes on at length mournfully describing and condemning the destruction of property, is almost a perfect example of white privilege. Shame on you, ma'am!
