Larkin d. Hoffman Estates: Amelia Gill had 8 kills and 5 digs and Danielle Newquist added 7 kills and 3 digs as Larkin (1-3) won in nonconference action 25-11, 26-24. Natalie Kofie (19 assists, 6 digs, 4 aces, 2 kills), Isabella Orozco (3 kills, 2 aces, 3 blocks), Ella Roland (4 kills, 3 digs, 2 aces) and April McGhee (5 digs) also contributed for the Royals.

Addison Trail d. Elgin: Abby Pierre-Louis (4 digs, 2 kills), Sabrina Stockman (3 digs, 2 blocks), Nikki Zimmer (4 digs, 2 kills) and Bopha Travis (6 digs) led Elgin (1-1) in its 25-18, 25-14 nonconference loss.

Huntley d. Rosary: Aly Dion had 15 kills and Erin Erb added 12 to lead Huntley to a 15-25, 25-18, 25-21 nonconference win. Haley Amieri (12 digs) and Kelsey DeWulf (26 assists) also pitched in for the Red Raiders.

Harvest Christian d. St. Edward: Allie Frantz (3 kills, 6 blocks), Ashlyn Floyd (15 assists) and Amanda Cassidy (6 digs, 5 aces, 2 kills) led the Lions (1-0) to a 25-23, 25-20 nonconference win. Dominique Washington (4 kills, 4 assists), Casey Gredzieleski (6 assists), Jacquelyn Boydston (3 kills) and Megan Barth (3 kills) led St. Edward (1-1).
