North Chicago Health Center holds patient appreciation day

The North Chicago Health Center in conjunction with the North Chicago Center for the Arts is holding a patient appreciation day from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13.

The event is open to the public and will include free food and beverages, a car show, yoga and Zumba classes, raffles, and music. Activities for kids include face painting, balloon animals, a bouncy house, and story reading. The North Chicago Police Department will provide a K-9 Agility and Command Response demonstration and a safety trailer.

Information will be available on dental, medical and nutrition programs. Health care providers will provide free health information.

The center at 2215 14th St., in North Chicago, is one of six health centers managed by the Lake County Health Department. Reservations are not required. Call (847) 377-8363 for more information.
