When will president work for us?

He still doesn't get it. After six years in office, President Obama thinks everyone in government works for him. In a recent press conference the president was asked if he felt that his presence in Ferguson. Mo., would help provide a calming influence. In responding to the query, President Obama pronounced that "the Department of Justice works for me" and that he did not want to have his presence in Ferguson seen as "putting his thumb on the scale."

Wrong! The DOJ doesn't work for you, Mr. President. The DOJ and you work for us. Taking the perspective that all government agencies are empowered by a mandate from the people and that these agencies are constituted to represent the best interests of all people would engender a sense of confidence in government that is currently lacking. How long is it going to take for someone who wears the esteemed title of president of the United States that we are a nation, We are the people, and that this country works best when the pronouns "I" and "me" are replaced by "we" and "us"?
