Obama part of problem of immigration

In their wisdom, our forefathers passed legal immigration laws. There is a reason the immigration laws are the way they are. One reason is to prevent the country from being overwhelmed!

Legal immigration was accepted by this great, generous and compassionate nation. During my lifetime I've seen many sides of this issue. But this crisis on the southern border rings back to the days of Jimmy Carter, and we all know how that played out.

Then there was Ronald Reagan, who gave illegal immigrants amnesty in exchange for a secure border - which America never got. Then there was the compassion of another president, but he realized another amnesty would only encourage another 10 million people to come illegally.

Then along came Dick Durbin and the DREAM Act and all the unintended consequences of good intentions that came with it. It never passed Congress, but that didn't stop President Obama, who is dedicated to the fundamental transformation of America. Obama decided he knew better and so what if another few hundred thousand illegal immigrants pranced across the border - he would just push them off to communities across the country and nobody would notice.

Can core America survive two more years of this president?
