The Light of Lincolnshire

Judy Kupchan can count herself among the best taekwondo athletes in the country, after her triumphant performance at the 2014 USA Taekwondo National Championship by earning a silver medal in poomsae - commonly known as forms.

The Lincolnshire native is no stranger to the national stage and has consistently medaled year after year. According to her coach, White Tiger Head Master Shik Lee, Kupchan exemplifies the qualities of a taekwondo champion. He indicated that the teen works hard at achieving success and was pleased but not surprised with her win. "Judy has an amazing attitude and a powerhouse willpower to win." Lee stated. "What makes her successful in taekwondo is what will make her a success in everything she sets her mind to, now and in the future."

Recognized as the national governing body for the sport by the United States Olympic Committee, USA Taekwondo's national championship is one of the most prestigious stages for a taekwondo athlete and Kupchan's silver level achievement is an accomplishment that she is extremely proud of.
