Bring your A-game to The Silver Games

Prepare yourself for a day filled with friendly competition at the Schaumburg Park District!

The Silver Games, sponsored by Schaumburg Bank & Trust, A Wintrust Community Bank, are a sociable competition for ages 62 and older, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Sept. 4, 5 and 8-10 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

The friendly competition is between Schaumburg Park District seniors and Friendship Village. There are a total of 28 competitions including a fishing derby, Sudoku, jigsaw puzzles, water volleyball, golf, bowling and more.

"The Silver Games serve every ability and everyone has fun," said Lisa Perrone, senior citizens coordinator. "The best part of the Silver Games is the seniors. Watching the friendships made and the laughter and hugs shared are priceless!"

Cost is $10 for games only; $25 for games and lunch; $40 for games, golf and lunch.
