Corn Fest returns to Rolling Meadows Saturday

Community Church of Rolling Meadows is holding its 58th annual Corn Fest and Craft Fair Saturday, Aug. 2, at Kirchoff Road and Meadow Drive.

The Corn Fest runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. while the craft fair starts and ends an hour earlier. Admission to grounds is free.

The menu features all you can eat sweet corn, grown locally and picked just hours before; a hamburger or hot dog, relishes, grilled onions, watermelon, and beverage. Meal tickets are adults, $12; seniors, $9; and children 4-12, $5; children 3 and under, free.

at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, the church will hold an outdoor worship service under the corn fest tent with Kingdom Life House of Prayer.
