Disco in Town Square this summer

Put on your platform shoes, grab your partner and spend an evening dancing to live music in Town Square.

Schaumburg Park District's free Schaumburg Summer Dance concerts are coming to a close but not before one final boogie-filled evening. Arthur Murray dance instructors will lead free introductory one-hour dance lessons from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Live music and dancing will follow the lessons from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Town Square gazebo located at the intersection of Roselle and Schaumburg Roads.

"The popular concert series returns for a fourth summer," said Cultural Arts Supervisor Beth Waller. "This summer's concerts feature new dance styles and performers."

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Concerts are held weather permitting.
