Volunteer group seeks help for after school programs

HandsOn Suburban Chicago, a nonprofit 501(c)3 agency, is pleased to announce that its after school tutoring programs in District 21 and District 59 will continue for the 2014-2015 school year. The objective of HOSC's After School Program is to provide homework help and support to high need students in the Northwest suburbs, as well as provide their parents with resources and engagement opportunities to become more involved in the program and school in general.

HOSC is currently seeking volunteers to serve as tutors during the after school programs at Cooper Middle School in Buffalo Grove, London and Holmes Middle Schools in Wheeling and Grove Jr. High School in Elk Grove Village. Training and orientation is provided.
