Train vibrations are wrecking home
I have lived on Wildberry Lane in Bartlett for 13 years, and during that time the increase in trains on the track in my backyard has made it impossible for me to sleep at all. The trains have been getting faster and longer, and the vibration is like a 4.0 earthquake. After a train passes, we can hear the house crack and pop; it looks like the drywall is ready to fall from the ceiling, and a crack has formed in the house following a loud bang.
I am asking for help because the town of Bartlett has told me it is better that I deal directly with the railroad (yeah, right). If we are to be subjected to this torture from sleep deprivation, we probably won't live long enough to be taxed to death by DuPage County. This is a real problem, and there are a lot of victims along this rail line.
