Elgin 360 Photography Club Discusses iPhoneography

The next Elgin 360 Photography Club monthly meeting takes place this Wednesday, July 9 at 7pm at Chooch's Pizzeria, 64 S. Grove Avenue. This month's guest speaker is Jerry Hug, Vice President - Public Relations at Photographic Society of America, who will be discussing "iPhoneography" - the art of camera phone photography.

A retired music educator turned fine art photographer, Jerry Hug will share his tips for successful "iPhoneography" as well as essential photography apps you should be using on your smartphones. A staging area will be available for attendees to use and practice with after you have downloaded the apps.

This will be a wonderful presentation for casual and novice photographers to learn effective smartphone camera photographic techniques.

Elgin 360 Photography Club's meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month and are open to everyone from beginners to advanced. Attendees are encouraged to stop by at 6pm to enjoy dinner at Chooch's and help support a local business.
