 Join guided imagery for wellness workshop in Geneva July 16

Christine N. Tredup, a licensed clinical social worker and owner of Lifespan Counseling, will present "Guided Imagery for Wellness" from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice, 200 Whitfield Drive, Geneva. This is a free educational workshop for the community. Registration is required; call (630) 232-2233 to reserve your spot.

This experiential session will introduce three guided imagery meditations. They are "Favorite Place Imagery," "Roots" and "Loving-Kindness."

Participants will learn the use of breath for general well-being, calming the mind and relaxation. Time will be allowed for sharing your experience and tuning in to the senses that guided imagery opens up.

Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice is a non-profit, volunteer-based, community-funded organization that has been dedicated to providing practical, spiritual, and emotional support to individuals with life-threatening and terminal illnesses and grieving persons and their families since 1981.
