Taste a meal from the 1880s during the Farm to Table Dinner
Dine your way back to the 1800s with a Farm to Table Dinner!
Enjoy a unique dining experience, 5:30-8:30 p.m., July 19 at the Spring Valley Heritage Farm, 201 S. Plum Grove Road. This outstanding multi-course gourmet dinner will feature fresh meats and produce from several northern Illinois farms. Wine and beers also will be available from local vintners and micro-brewers including Two Brothers Brewery and Lynfred Winery.
"This is a 30 person limited dinner," said Spring Valley Manager Dave Brooks. "This event will really take you back in time and truly feel as if it were the 1800s."
Tickets are $60 per person and available until July 13 at Spring Valley Nature Center.
