Bartlett police launching traffic enforcement campaign

Bartlett police will spend extra patrol hours in the days before and after the Fourth of July to check for traffic and intoxicated driving infractions.

Bartlett's "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign is funded by a grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation's Division of Traffic Safety.

The department was awarded 35 additional hours for DUI saturation patrols, as well as 20 hours for seat belt saturation patrols.

The campaign runs from Monday, June 23, through Sunday, July 6.

For details, contact Bartlett police at (630) 837-0846.
