Friday deadline for Lincoln Day Dinner tickets

The deadline to buy tickets for the Northwest Suburban Republican Lincoln Day Dinner, scheduled for Tuesday, June 17 at The Cotillion banquet hall in Palatine, is Friday.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner is the keynote speaker at the event, which is a fundraiser for local Republican township organizations and their work to elect Republican candidates. Participating townships include Barrington, Elk Grove, Hanover, Maine, Northfield, Palatine, Schaumburg and Wheeling.

Tickets for the dinner, themed "Restoring Illinois to Prosperity," are $100 and available at www.lincolndd.org. A limited number of tickets are still available.

Besides Rauner, other statewide Republican candidates scheduled to speak include Paul Schimpf, candidate for attorney general, Mike Webster, candidate for secretary of state, and Tom Cross, candidate for treasurer.

The Cotillion is located at 360 S. Creekside Drive in Palatine. The reception starts at 6 p.m. and dinner begins at 7 p.m.
