Elk Grove's Acme Industries acquires Elk Grove's Bley LLC

Elk Grove Village-based Acme Industries said Thursday it has acquired machining and fabrication company Bley LLC, also of Elk Grove Village. Terms of the acquisition were not announced.

Acme said the acquisition will provide its customers with a broader portfolio of precision machining capabilities and services. Acme Industries and Bley serve customers that are original equipment manufacturers, providing them with large machined parts and assemblies in the oil and gas, transportation, mining, construction, military and aerospace industries.

The company headquarters will be located at Acme's current address of 1325 Pratt Boulevard in Elk Grove Village, with additional facilities at 777 Chase Ave. and 700 Chase Ave. The total operations will encompass over 270,000 square feet of manufacturing space in the three facilities.
