Trusting president getting harder to do

On May 21 we were again asked by our president, Barack Obama, to believe he will take action on the VA scandal. He stated be will hold people guilty of "cooking the books" accountable. "Period."

Where have we heard this before?

In the health care law - you will be able to keep your doctor, your health plan and hospital. "Period."

In Benghazi - the people responsible for the death of four brave Americans will be brought to justice. "Period."

This is a sad period in our history, a time when many of us do not trust our president. If only he would take responsibility for something and not blame everyone else. Please, Mr. President, step up to the plate, make us proud of a president we can trust again.

And finally, stop all this fundraising - do your job we elected you to do. Help solve our country's problems, and stop the politics.
