Enjoy outdoor music at the Bartlett Public Library

Pack up the family and a picnic dinner and take part in the Bartlett Public Library's outdoor summer fun.

The community is welcome to enjoy the library's "Fravinia" concert series: Three evenings of free music and entertainment in the library's outdoor courtyard, 800 S. Bartlett Road.

At 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 13, the Friends of the Bartlett Public Library and the Bartlett Park District will treat the community to a concert featuring the groovy tunes of the '60s tribute band, SHiNDiG. This high-energy group will thrill audiences with their unique period looks and true to original song renditions.

The rock band SODA will perform in the second concert presented by the Friends of the Library and American Chartered Bank. The concert is at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 1. Enjoy a variety of music from Johnny Cash to Cee Lo Green and from John Mellencamp to LMFAO. Three lead singers, each with distinctive styles, work to bring authenticity to all your favorite songs.

The third concert, 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, will feature Billy Croft & the Five Alarm for some red-hot, smokin' country fun. Picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.
