Celebrate Flag Day at the Stevenson Center

The Adlai Stevenson Center on Democracy in Mettawa will host a storytelling and music festival on Flag Day, June 14, teaming with the Cook Memorial Library District and the North Suburban Wind Ensemble. Storytelling with local and professional storytellers begins at 4 p.m.; at 5:30 p.m. the North Suburban Wind Ensemble will perform. The Stevenson Center is at 25200 N. St. Mary's Road. Tickets, in advance or at the door, are $10 a person or $20 per car. Bicyclists get in free. Register at stevensoncenterondemocracy.org/events.html.
