Rolling Meadows accident victim identified

A Rolling Meadows woman who died Tuesday night in a car accident on Route 53 south of Kirchoff Road in Rolling Meadows has been identified.

Tiffany Ensalaco, 34, died as a result of multiple injuries from a car accident, according to Cook County medical examiner's office officials.

Ensalaco, of the 3700 block of Wren Lane, lost control of her pickup truck, crashed into a concrete median wall and was ejected from the vehicle shortly after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, officials said.

She was pronounced dead at 7:22 p.m. at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Several lanes of Route 53 were closed on Tuesday following the accident.

It is not clear why Ensalaco lost control of her vehicle, but police said she did not appear to be wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
